The Woman’s Literary Union of Androscoggin County will host it annual children’s tea featuring “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” for boys and girls – and their adults – to be held in five sessions over two days in April.
The tea for boys and girls is a unique opportunity for children to not only see inside the historic Foss Mansion, but it is also a unique opportunity for the young attendees to experience entertainment specifically designed for their young minds and attention span in a beautiful setting.
In addition to the entertainment, tea, juice and snacks will be served. A boutique will be open in one of the mansion’s rooms and items for sale will include clothing to fit 18-inch dolls and other non-gender-specific play items to go along with the Willy Wonka theme.
The Tea schedule is as follows: Sessions at 10 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 29; and sessions at noon and 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 30.
To purchase tickets, use the order form here (print it and mail it to WLU, ATTN: Children’s Tea, 19 Elm Street, Auburn, ME 04210) or PayPal. Tickets are $11 each; both adults and children need tickets to attend and children must be accompanied by an adult.
